Izetta The Last Witch

Author: Vladnyx

Just recently I finished "Izetta The Last Witch". I have to say my initial take jumping in was a skewed one. Given the era and setting of this story taking place in a semi-modern alternate universe of World War II I was expecting to be treading upon eggshells. The fact of how actual real world events transpired during WWII this really can make things uncomfortable. Somehow by namesake alone I was intrigued enough to watch this series. Now lets jump into the review shall we.

Magi: the Labyrinth of Magic

A long, long time ago, there was a man named Timekeeper who was scrolling through Netflix with a bored, glazed look in his eyes. Through his wanderings, he stumbled upon a series called "Magi: the Labyrinth of Magic". It looked appealing enough, but he wasn't sure whether or not he was motivated enough to start a new anime series. He then darted his eyes towards his ever-increasing pile of bills, research papers, and calls from his mother wanting to chew him out over something trivial. It was then he decided that he would give the series a watch.

Before I even scratch the surface of this show, I will tell you that my initial expectations of this series were very low. And thankfully this series did not disappoint like another series I had poor initial expectations of. Now that I've said that, let's get to actually talking about the subject: No Game No Life.

*Intro* Da-Da-Da!!! Welcome to a SoTa PoP Review! It’s late October right now, and Halloween’s around the corner. A time where dreams meet reality, and our scariest stories are given life once again; reminding us of all the spooks that once went bump in the night. But what if they never left, only organized and blended in?

School Live! (Gakkou Gurashi)

Good lord. I'll be totally honest here, but this was probably the most fun I've ever had going blind into a series since Madoka Magica. And that's saying A LOT coming from me. However, unlike Madoka Magica, the "you didn't see that coming" hardball that hits you right in the face came a fair bit earlier in this series. Aside from an animated GIF that was shared with me on Facebook, I knew absolutely nothing when I decided to pick this series up. And my God, I'm glad I did. Before I begin this review, I am going to say that this review will have some spoilers.
