Jyu-Oh-Sei

Author: Lady Soubi

Jyu-Oh-Sei is the sort of anime that can easily impress those that would usually overlook it's premise as not for them. With a constant stream of surprises it is never boring; the loveable cast and plot is very well produced. With a number of elements conspiring to make it a success, Jyu-Oh-Sei is unfortunately the sort of anime to often overlooked due to brevity.

K-On!

Author: Ventus

K-On! is a show that many anime fans have likely heard heard of by now due to the amount of hype surrounding the title. A show many male viewers may think not suitable to their tastes, what with story revolving around a few high school girls and a light music club. Yet in spite of this and without any pervasive fan-service or other artificial prompts, given a few episodes many people will find themselves coming back for more.

School Days (Azraled)

Author: Azraled

After watching the series/all the other movies (Which I couldn't even get through the last one because I felt like a dumb dumb for even trying to watch it.) School Days. I.... I... I just can't even. I just couldn't even bear through seeing this last movie when I realized that I am an idiot for watching the entire thing. The whole show is just stupid, but hey! It's leading up to a "dark" conclusion that doesn't even come close to comparing to Elfin Lied, or other gory ass brutal anime.

Baccano!

Baccano time!

Sitting here trying to figure out how to begin this review was probably the hardest part about starting it. I have no idea where to begin and where to end the talk about Baccano. The thought of not knowing where this review would end up quickly became the perfectly ironic start for talking about this crazy, unexpectedly suave Anime.

Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad

Author: Lince

Hi there! Lince here with my first review in ages. This time I decided to go back and check up on a well praised anime named Beck. Beck revolves around some main character voiced by Greg Ayres [Can't remember his name] discovering his love of music and eventually joining a newly formed band named Beck. Got it? Good. [I aint gonna spoil why the band is called Beck. Not getting that out of me ]

Steins;Gate

Author: Lince

Steins;Gate is a masterpiece. Anyone who says otherwise without giving you definitive proof of some kind of bad plot hole or character stretch is simply a hater. Don't try to reconcile with them, cause they don't deserve to enjoy what this anime has to offer.

I really can't describe the experience of watching Steins;Gate, you've just gotta do it. If you don't do it, you're missing out.

Story: [10/10]

It's great. Time-travelling and shit, confusing things and shit, Moeka's sexy body and shit. What's not to like?

Haganai: I Don't Have Many Friends (S1)

Author: Lince

Haganai. Yippee /sarcasm. I can smell overrated anime from a mile away. One character apparently is enough to warrant an entire second season for an anime. Noted, so next time I try to write an anime idea, I'll make sure I focus specifically on one character and make him/her so full to the brim with obvious traits and qualities that will appeal to the intended audience. You know what, I'm starting with the characters this time. I gotta get this off my chest.

The Sacred Blacksmith (Seiken no Blacksmith)

A long time ago in a forum thread not so far away, I submitted a piece for the JustDubs Review of the Month contest, a competition whose winner was curiously never decided. Undeterred however, I felt my review was somewhat rushed anyway and there was definitely room for improvement and expansion. Thus, many months of procrastination later I finally mustered up the motivation to rewrite it... while on a road trip when I had nothing better to do and was cut off from all outside communication.
